3. Approval: After a thorough review, the CREC provides approval for studies that meet ethical requirements. Studies may not proceed without this approval.
4. Ongoing Communication: The CREC maintains regular communication with the Clinical Research Department throughout the duration of the study. This includes ongoing review and monitoring of the study to ensure continued ethical compliance.
5. Problem Solving: If any ethical issues or concerns arise during the conduct of the study, the CREC works with the Clinical Research Department to resolve them in a manner that prioritizes the rights and wellbeing of the participants.
