With deep expertise in Clinical Embryology, he has managed IVF laboratories across Jordan, Germany, Australia, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates.
After obtaining a BSc in Biological Science with a specialization in Molecular Biology and Genetics from Jordan University of Science and Technology in 1999, he pursued an MSc in Clinical Embryology from the University of Leeds/ United Kingdom, graduating in 2007. Following this, he joined the Robinson Institute at the University of Adelaide, Australia—an institution renowned for its pioneering work in reproductive medicine. His research has resulted in patented procedures and media, published in prestigious, high-impact journals.
A pivotal moment in his career was the post-doctoral fellowship at the Center of Reproductive Medicine, UZ Brussels, in Belgium—one of the world’s leading centers for reproductive medicine. During his two-year tenure, he played a crucial role in advancing the field of IVM, contributing directly to the birth of the first IVM baby based on his research. This experience not only cemented his reputation as a leading expert in reproductive technologies but also provided a gold standard credential that has been instrumental in his career trajectory. His research findings from this period are now routinely applied in human treatments and extended to other species.
In 2011, he returned to the Middle East to take on a leadership role as the director of one of the region’s most pioneering IVF centers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This center was not only the first and largest in the country but also one of the earliest IVF centers in the entire Middle East.
